Lucas ain’t gonna take it no more!

Michael Lucas wanted to let everyone know that he had cast Tristan Matthews for a movie shoot. He now wants everyone to know that Tristan was a no-show. Tristan, according to Lucas Entertainment, had confirmed his appearance with them and with mr Pam. Tristan was not answering his phone. Noting that Tristan is not the first performer to pull a stunt like this, the studio is “strongly recommending” everyone in the industry to share information “about models who flake.” No-shows can cause business problmes for all concerned, including the co-performers, the crew…production dates may have to be rescheduled. In this case, Arpad Miklos filled in. Lucas says they will never hire a model who creates “problems” for other companies, and will take that into consideration when hiring. Earlier, there were some who weren’t too pleased with Lucas’ policy of having models buy their own airfare and the reimburse them. The studio claims it has helped to avoid model no-shows and losing money over wasted flights. Lucas is recommending this to other companies. Let’s see who steps up to the plate.

Let’s see if “Ugly Betty” can maintain its position as the gayest show on mainstream TV. Porn diva Michael Lucas has won himself a walk-on role on the ABC show with a winning bid of $18G at a live auction. The Stonewall Dinner in the Delegates’ Dining Room at the UN, which had, as its guests, gay and lesbian “power players,” was an event to honor Dustin Lance Black and Mitchell Gold. “Of course I wanted to give money to Stonewall,” said Lucas, “but I also saw a chance to shake up television a bit: the first porn star cameo ever on a family program.” It will be interesting to see how ABC deals with a porn star on prime time TV. He will remain clothed, I suspect, and I wonder if the role will be credited.

Zack’s back!

When Zack Randall left the porn industry a couple of years ago, he REALLY left. He went to Nepal. But now he’s back, and is returning to do 20 scenes with the SaggerzSkatez Studios, which includes several fetish websites that feature watersports and toegasms, just to name a few. Zack said he chose SaggerzSkaterz because he had done more than half of his over-100 previous scenes with the company. The studio will be releasing a “Best of…” compilation “Zack Randall: The Story So Far,” and Zack has also included scenes from stuff shot for the website he has with the love of his life Derek Rivero. Zack, who is known for his WS activities, along with his ability to suck himself, has an interview with Angel Benton running in various places, including TheSword.com, and will be making his first public appearance in two years at LA Pride on the 13th and 14th. The DVD will be available at the Bonerama.com booth at Pride, and to the rest of the world at the end of July.

Fabscout’s Howard Andrew has a new boy toy. Well, I’m not sure about the “toy” part, but Topher Reynolds is the young man’s name. My friend, penologist Norton Drake,  found him on Rentboy.com and thought he had a “Phil Bradley ass,” and Howard confirmed, “That’s my boy!” Topher is about to become a Randy Blue exclusive, so that’s where we’ll find him shortly. He hasn’t done any films as yet, and just moved to Washington DC, so as to be closer to me, no doubt, because he loves me. Says so right here. He wouldn’t lie.

Blue Blake is now in pre-production for his return to the WWP (Wonderful World of Porn) after a two-year hiatus. His new film will be titled “Baghdaddy” (could I make this up) and is set during the Iraq war, and will be shot this summer in London and “an unnamed Middle Eastern Country.” You know Blue – he finds all these gorgeous guys, in this case, Arabs, at the gym. They are, of course, straight. Straight Arab men always want to fuck American and British soldier-types. Blue wonders “how much Iarquis cock a straight American soldier can endure.”  Oh – get this. Blue says, “Obviously this is all fantasy and will be portrayed as tastefully as possible unless things get out of hand….then who knows what will be captured on film.” I like the “tastefully as possible” line. If anyone deserves a Titan gig, it’s Matthew Rush. The former Falcon exclusive recently filmed a scene for the studio with Francois Sagat (I think they have the same hair-stylist).  It’s an outdoors-y thing, directed by Brian Mills, where Matt was “looking amazing,” according to those who know these things, and can “keep a hard-on like no other performer we have ever seen.” Always a plus, I say. Oh- and did I mention that it is, according to the Titan blog page, a “very wet scene.” Hmmm…I know what THAT means. The as-yet-untitled film in which it will appear should be released later this year. Michael Lucas has taken leave of the city that’s so nice they named it twice, and is now filming in Israel. He will be, I understand, using all Israeli models in his movie “Men of Israel,” and if this guy named Matan is any example, I think pre-orders are warranted. He will, no doubt, have many more fine pics on his blog page as time goes on. Try not to drool on the keyboard.

Vargas update…

There is already an update to my  item (below just a bit)  on Jonathan Vargas. Scotty B. has done an interview with the former Lucas guy, and it looks like the young and delightfully uncut young man will be returning to the US shortly, and possibly to porn. Craigslist drops erotic ads – not that they ever had ‘em.

Even David Forest has expressed his thoughts on the Craigslist news that the popular internet classified site has dropped its free “erotic services” listings  (Forest called Craigslist “an amateur hot-dog stand”).  A recent killing in Boston has been called the “Craigslist murder.” The change in Craiglist’s listing came just days after CEO Jim Buckmaster had said that the company was doing nothing “illegal.” Buckmaster told CNN that he did not view the law enforcement community’s involvement as “pressure,” but it sure looks that way to many. JC Adams at the GayPornTimes site is running a poll that you might be interested in voting on, and I have also expressed my comments on the topic. Are the Verizon Yellow Pages next? How about local alternative papers that run far more blatant ads for “services?”
