Looks like the story of Zeb Atlas and Jake Cruise just isn’t going to go away quietly. Now it’s Matthew Rush who is getting into the picture, by breaking down on his webcam the other day for the porn world to see. All except me, of course, cause I’m not bright enough to figure out how to get the foolish thing, sent to me by Tass at Porn Confidential, to open. From what I can determine, Rush is upset that Zeb chose to first get a BJ from the erstwhile Mr. Cruise, which certainly seemed to take some of the anticipation away from his Falcon debut, and makes Matt “sloppy seconds.” Matt and Zeb’s oral scene has already been shot by Falcon, but the bottoming scene (Matt will be the bottom…what? You were expecting Zeb? Pulleeeeeeeeeeze…) has yet to be filmed. Ah, but there’s more. Mark Kliem at the Lavender Lounge blog is saying (and he probably got this from the as-yet-unseen-by-me Rush-rant) that Zeb was…how shall I put this…”unclean” when Matt was rimming him for the scene, and Rush caught an intestinal parasite. Please, no one say, “That’s show business.” Thank you. I like Matthew Rush (I have nothing against Zeb, I might add, other than him being gay-for-pay, not that there’s anything wrong with that), and I guess he was just venting. Yes, I’m sure that’s the way Falcon will look at it.
UPDATE: I finally got to see the Matthew Rush webcam, and it is…well, amazing stuff. I’ll let you form your own opinions, and feel free to comment below. My thanks to Tass at Porn Confidential for making my Saturday by sending it to me, and you can view it here.
UPDATE #2 - Monday 9AM - Well, looks like Falcon was not terribly thrilled about Tass running Matthew Rush’s webcam meltdown, and requested it be removed (Matt’s webcam was part of the Falcon site). Although I didn’t personally receive the email (well, not yet…), I don’t have a copy of it, so you will no longer find it at the link above. If you missed it (and it was one of those not-to-be-missed things), be assured that, someday, some way, it will reappear somewhere. I’ve always like Rush and would welcome an explanation from him, at some point.

Falcon tried to censor the comments he posted at ATKOL by falsely claiming they were left by an impostor. The press release Falcon issued a day after Rush went public was a complete 180 from what Rush was saying.

Well, another quick update to the updates-
After coffee, I checked Tass’ site (the link is on Update #1 above), and she, in her amusing way, swapped the Matt Rush meltdown with a YouTube thing (so it is something that at least Falcon can’t claim as theirs) of Todd Montgomery’s departure from Falcon, with a montage of various sites that covered it, including vidioview [blush] and that other site that shall remain nameless that ran some kind of faux interview with TM before his departure.
Let me say that I have never had a problem dealing with Falcon, but hey, this stuff is as amusing as hell.

Since I was not targeted by Falcon (maybe they just didn’t realize I was linking to Tass’ site), I can’t really say anything personally about boycotting. That is entirely up to Mark Kleim at the Lavender Lounge and Tass at Porn Confidential. But I do agree that they should not have insisted the video be removed. If they had a problem with Rush, they should have dealt with him (which I’ll bet they did) and not with those who were running his personal comments. And Rush certainly had to know (once he…ahem…got it together) that Falcon would most likely take it down. He should have put it on a MySpace or YouTube or something like that.

Falcon can do whatever they want. If they want all Falcon metions removed from Tass’ site, then fine. I seriously doubt that Tass’ site will tumble and fall because of it. The public who like Falcon product will continue to buy Falcon movies whether or not Falcon appears on PC.
Falcon owns Rush’s website, they can take down whatever they want - if Rush goes floopy and makes a fool of himself (and, in turn, Falcon), Falcon has every right to remove it. I do think their trying to take down a YouTube video is just downright silly, but hey, if they can do it, good luck to them. However, all this being made public makes them look kinda silly. Not as silly as Rush, maybe, but still…
A nice call to Tass (I know she has a phone because I’ve talked to her on it) asking her nicely and explaining their position might have gotten Falcon further than some pompous legal email. But I guess that’s the way we do things these days.
Bottom line is, this like all else will pass, and…well, for now anyway, it just gets stranger…

Yes it was I who requested that the Matthew video be taken down - and I had every right to. I love how Tass ‘explained’ that she just “put it up on a private page for a friend who was having trouble viewing it” - but then sent the link to Mark at Vidioview so HE could post it. Then when a screen shot of the video appears on Lavender Lounge (humm, wonder where HE got it?) and I ask nicely that it be taken down I’m told that “I am probably one of a very few resources that actually expressed empathy for the model”. Posting that (with the promise of more photos and the video later!) is how you show EMPATHY? Please. The reason Vidioview didn’t get a cease and desist letter is because they LINKED to the video on PC. Showing ‘empathy’ is a great excuse but the only thing you tried to do is increase traffic to your site(s) at Matthews expense. PC has removed all Falcon material as well they should have - in 6 months they haven’t made 1 dime for us - or themselves.
OH - and a ‘nice’ call to Tass? Let’s turn the tables - she could have called ME and asked about the video before posting it - but she decided that she had a ’scoop’ and was going to disseminate it as she saw fit. Not cool under any circumstances or for any reason. That video was posted for SHOCK VALUE and without ANY concern for Matthew whatsoever.
And as far as removing the video from YouTube - our company logo and photos we own the copyright to were used in that video - we have every right to try and remove that video also.
So now we’re the big bad Falcon because we tried to defend our Lifetime Exclusive Matthew Rush - too bad we ruined some juicy content for you but that’s the way it goes. Matthew feels bad enough the way it is - do any of you really think that by posting that video you would have made him feel any better? That he would have felt ‘empathy’ from you all?

Directly from the brass balls and no brains department comes an attack from Troy at Falcon directed at Tass. Let’s be very clear here Troy. If Matt Rush had been handled properly by Falcon there would have been no issue. That he was not, your efforts at damage control will not change that basic fact.
Trying to blame messengers for messages is as old as the hills as is the hypocrisy of the double speak of Falcon protecting their lifetime exclusive Matt Rush.
When a year ago I called on the industry to stifle the internet terrorist Kent Barclay AKA Damon Kruezer I specifically addressed the abuse of Matt Rush, the harassment, the demeaning nastiness which I will not repeat here nut another word out of you and the world will see what you allowed to be done and said about your lifetime exclusive that you did nothing to protect. Your own response to me was go away and never contact me again. Yeah you protected him good.
When I spoke with Todd Montgomery about the issue I said “How can you look Matt Rush in the eye?” “Is this how Falcon protects their lifetime exclusive models”? He could not answer the question. The answer was that the lying internet terrorist was more important that your lifetime exclusive. Your lies about protecting him may sound good to you but they are LIES.
Trying to shift the blame from Falcon to Tass is right out of Kent’s playbook. Trying to diminish Tass by lying about what she has earned makes you look like such a big man.
It is no coincidence that when the shit hits the fan you act like and stand with Kent. You want to tell everyone why Falcon is a friend of Kent’s on myspace? Don’t bother I will… Do something despicable, blame someone else about it, and divert attention by lying your ass off and smearing them. Yes you and Kent Barclay are a pair… Perhaps now that it is legal perhaps the two of you should get married in California.
In the meantime I will make this clear. Had Falcon treated Matt Rush properly when Todd Montgomery and Falcon embraced Kent Barclay you would be believable. I find this all very interesting, Troy.
a) While i no longer have a business connection to PornConfidential, I remain an arden friend and confidant to Tass.
b) I happen to know that Tass made a damn sight more than a dime for herself and especially Falcon. To say otherwise, and to imply that her site has no traffic or makes no sales, if it isnt true (which is isn’t) could constitute slander (or is it libel?) either way. Maybe you should ask the legal eagles at Falcon if what you said might be actionable from Tass’ perspective
c) while your legal eagles are looking that up, maybe they should take a closer look at the fair use provisions of copyright law. Specifically, they should look into the penalties for using the mechanisms of that law in a punative manner with little to no basis in law. the penalties are severe, fyi.
d) I will stipulate that Tass hasn’t made a “mint” from Falcon, but that probably has more to do with the product itself. Dozens of other studios (some far larger than Falcon) seem quite happy with Tass’s promotion and the exposure they get on PornConfidential. In fact, the head of a major rival studio wondered why Tass gave Falcon coverage at all, considering that the former CEO of their company actually gave an interview to Kent Barclay/Damon Kruezer- a man with known ties to pedophiles and a man who is soon to face an array of state and federal charges for everything from extortion to witness intimidation to stalking.
e) in fact, i find it the height of irony that Troy would bemoan Tass’s treatment of Matt Rush when he is one of the prime victims of Kent’s treachery. Isnt this the same Falcon who “fed” the same internet terrorist who harrassed their “lifetime exclusive”?
f) back to the product: when i saw that “Straight guy” site from Falcon i knew they were in trouble. I could write an entire post on that debacle, but in the interest of time i will just say that it was ill-advised and goofy to look at.
g) of course this entire incident has precidence. A few years back, another …character… from Falcon (chris steele) also took offense on a story Tass had reposted from another site. He reacted by leaving a screaming (yes screaming, in all senses of the word) voicemail on Tass’s machine. Had he just called she would have removed it. Then we have Todd Montgomery reaching out and all but endorsing Kent Barclay and now this?
h) Troy continued to send Tass email, even though she never responded, in essense fighting with himself. He kept saying imperious-sounding things like “I’m going to have a talk with our affiliate manager!”
YOu do that Troy. There are dozens of other studios who support Tass and who Tass supports. There are PLENTY of other companies who’s representitives dont behave in such an unprofessional manner.
PErsonally i think there’s something in the water over there. So much erratic behaviour…. Since i no longer own PornConfidential i will just have to wonder to myself. If i still owned it, i might persue exactly WHAT is making you folks act so… wacky.

I’m going to have to chime in here. I actually saw the link to the Matthew Rush video on PC which was posted on Atkol. From what i remember there were no advertisements on the page just the video. By Troy/Falcon implying that Tass/PC was trying to make a buck from Matthews expense is laughable. That may of been the cause over at Lavender Lounge but certainly not on PC.
I agree with Dexx maybe it’s the product that isn’t doing well you guys haven’t been making the movies you used to. Falcon used to be at the top of the game now it holds no merrit.
The unprofessional staff over there speaks for itself. Todd Montgomery certainly was no saint, and i highly doubt this Troy character is going to step in and clean up the mess Falcon has already gotten themselves into. He’s making it worse by posting at Atkol and various forums with his outlandish and unprofessional behavior.

you know. not to be a post hog or anything, but i realized that in my rush to speak my mind to troy, i forgot all about matt rush himself. I never saw the video, but it has now been described to me. I can understand why people would want that video not shown publically. i also now understand why tass buried it in her site and made a link for mark to see. she was wondering if maybe he was acting or something.
i say this because i know for sure and certain that tass has nothing but love for matt rush and i know from my own conversations with him that he is a sweet, genuine guy and i will NEVER believe that tass would do anything to intentionally harm him.
as for falcon, well their support of Kent Barclay after what kent did to matt is in my mind much worse than posting a video on a buried link so a person who is …less than computer savvy (yes you mark) could see it. LOL.

You know - I’d like to address each and every comment made after I posted but I seriously do not have the time or energy for that. I’ll comment on a few. I’m really at a loss for words as to why anyone would question our motives for squashing the Matthew video. Matthew made the video in an extremely emotional state and under the influence of some medication he was taking for his knee injury. He regrets making the comments he made and is embarrassed and humiliated by his actions. Matthew has literally crawled under a rock and will surface with a statement after he’s had time to let things cool down.
Matthew is a much loved and respected gay porn icon and has a stellar reputation - he has never let us down and is the definition of ‘team player’. Falcon will always support and defend Matthew - he is an important part of Falcon and will continue to be an important part as long as he wants to be. When I viewed the video in question I was heartsick so when i saw a link to the video show up on Vidioview and found out that it was provided by PC and was on the PC site I was actually shocked. I have always had a great relationship with ALL of our affiliates so to see a few post or attempt to post this clip was sickening to me. I stand steadfast in my thoughts that this clip was posted for no other reason than shock value and traffic reasons. If anyone was actually concerned for Matthew they could have called me with a ‘warning/heads up’. We do not censor our models web-cam shows and have never really had a reason to - Matthews video was actually deleted by himself before we even had a chance to view it.
As far as the repeated references to DK. Let it go people. The ONE person who was communicating with DK is now gone.
As far as the YouTube video goes - we want all negative references associated with Falcon gone. Time to move on.
ATKOL - I initially truly thought a certain someone was posing as Matthew and asked that the postings be removed - wouldn’t you? When ATKOL determined the postings were in fact written by Matthew they made the decision to re-post them - why? - because they had the right to. I then explained to them that we had a sensitive situation on our hands and requested they be removed again - they refused - I accepted that - end of story. I did not lie to them.
No one has been removed from our affiliate program - i do highly appreciate all of our affiliates, BUT, when any affiliate posts something that is potentially damaging to our company or one of our models I will defend and protect as I see fit. This is not censoring - it is exercising our rights as owners of our copyrighted content.
Our films have never been better - have you watched; “Winter Heat”, “Afterparty” or “Fleet Week”? “Roman’s Holiday” is coming and is utterly amazing. These films are selling and selling big - we are thrilled with our sales right now.

I should have known better to of posted comments on this matter. You can defend Tass’s actions all you want but what she did led to Vidioview posting a link to PC and the video I’m talking about - that led to Lavender Lounge getting ahold of the info - so how can you honestly say she’s not at any kind of fault here? If I had not sent the ‘cease and desist’ that video (made available by Tass and PC) would have been in many, many more places. I’m not backing down on this. Now all you’ve done is force me to get Matthews take on what Tass did and what HE thinks her motives were. And just for the record - when Tass in BOLD letters said “I WILL NOT BE CENSORED”…what did she mean by that?? Did she write an article sympathetic to Matthew that I somehow missed - to go along with the link she was leading everyone too? Did I ask her to remove any of her writings or change anything she had written? The answer is no. I requested that she remove a piece of material that she did not own or have the right to ‘broadcast’. She ‘hosted’ that video so she is responsible for any proliferation of it - end of story.

The link to the video was posted on the Muscle Service forums making it available for anyone to get a hold of. Dozens if not hundreds of people viewed it. Putting the blame on 1 person here isn’t fair. We forget this is the internet, once something is posted it’s very hard to take back. The video is making it’s way on other sites as well and a “heads up” spoof of the Matt Rush crying senerio is making it’s way on the “You Tube” channel Chris Crocker style.

I do not feel as if i ‘bit’ my ‘friends’ at all. Tass shared a very sensitive video with an unknown amount of people - she hosted it on her site - she directed people to it. She did not write a story to accompany this video that was sympathetic to Matthew at all. By ’secretly’ hiding the video on her site (but directing people to it) I can only believe that she knew what would happen…this one would tell that one and that one would tell the other one, etc. Why am I not allowed to feel that SHE ‘bit’ me, Falcon and Matthew?? I need to hear a logical answer to that question.

I am fiercly protective of our models and at times have moved mountains for them so they are well taken care of financially. If I didn’t have that video pulled I would not have been doing my job. If I had it to do over I don’t think I’d handle it any differently.

you obviously aren’t getting it. i don’t know a thing about you, other than your printed words and they were the definition of haughty.
tass did NOT promote that link. she made it for one person to see.

these are my sticking points:
a) your mischaracterization of tass’s site as “never earning a dime”
b) your accusation that tass would sell out matt rush for money
c) your continued insistence of some nefarious motive on tass’s part
for the last time- she did not ever intend to promote that. she showed it to a colleague as we usually do and it was posted. i don’t think mark did it to be mean or to hurt matt rush either. and i also don’t think he did it to stab tass in the back, obviously.
if your goal was to get this off the stage already (and i don’t blame you- it would have been mine) you failed miserably.
The idea that you would lie about an affiliate’s earnings and make them look bad when they displease you should be a warning to all affiliates. even if it were true. Tass never claimed to make a fortune for falcon or to send them a ton of traffic. falcon is actually on the lower scales of the over 200 companies tass is affiliated with. (we don’t call her the affilliate queen for nothing)
ask video secrets how much money tass earns from them? ask if they’re happy with her promotion.
this is no longer about matt rush. this is about your attempted heavy handed handling of somebody who has been loyal to you (tass)
it very much reminds me of how chris steel treated her. I put my nose in it because Tass is too nice to hand you your ass and point out just how unjust and rotten your comments were/are.
do you realize how this looks to other affiliates? to see you post on a public forum that tass’s site doesnt earn a dime? how dare you.

I will get an accurate account and send it privately to Tass - if an appology is in order I will most certainly do so. I made the statement I made with information given to me.

Okay, maybe not for $money$ so to speak - but I still believe she was unethical by leading ANYONE to that video, especially since it DID get posted in a public forum leading back to PC. If she truly didn’t mean for this to get out of hand - and by even ONE person posting it from PC it got out of hand - she was dead wrong.

I have NEVER had any issues with Tass or PC until now - why not take the high road and ignore those ‘videos’ if you’re such a big Falcon supporter? I am still not convinced that Tass thought she was being discreet and sharing something with someone that wouldn’t ‘leak’ out.

You’ve got to be kidding right? Did you know either of them intimately? Work in an office with them? I know for a fact that each and every studio head had has FREAKED out on one blogger/gossip columnist at one time or another - I think you’re under the impression they ran a tight ship because they wouldn’t have put up with stuff like this either.

Fairly obvious? Do tell - we’re all dying to know who you think it was. I’m targeting Tass because she poliferated BOTH videos - the ONLY one to do so. Know of any other sites that ran BOTH videos?

By the way - where are you people when there are porn events? Why are you eerily on the periphery…just on the fringes of the web? i have no idea who chuck holmes is, nor do i care about the falcon history. tass was sent two different links for both of those videos from different places. she FOUND them on the internet.

as for me, i am notoriously reclusive and would rather lose a testicle than mingle with the greater porn industry. plenty of people have met me. i never had to do that meet and greet industry thing to “catch up on trends” and try to carve out a living, thanks.
none of which distracts from the fact that YOU sent tass nasty email, again and again without her even answering you, and YOU made provably false statements regarding her site. it used to be my site, but she is still my friend and i comment when i feel like it. especially when you try to act like a bully with nothing more to back it up than illogical assumptions and snipes.

I’m pretty sure the people behind the CEO chairs, models, industry folk shared and gossiped about the video as well. All this because someone directed the link to a site which was to be made private for 1 particular viewer.
Troy’s mistake was posting period. All this isn’t doing Matthew any favors. In fact it’s making it worse. If Troy was sensitive to Matthew he would have just let it die down. Instead he chose to come to a public blog and add more fuel to the fire.

scroll up. provably false. if you’re unclear tonight, i suggest you wait until tomorrow and re=read what you posted. i agree with john. i have no desire to sit in the pr chair either troy, fyi, but one doesnt need a degree in spin to see how badly you handled this. what affiliate in his right mind would want to have the pr guy from falcon in public putting down his or her traffic and/or modest earnings. i just spoke to somebody from another company yesterday who marveled at the level of wrongness in that. he didnt believe it when i read it to him- he had to be directed to this link. which reminds me. i suspect this thread will get insanely crowded when somebody links from atkol, which i’m sure will happen sooner or later.
i havent read the pr book, but i am pretty sure that would be in the “not to do” list. its a lesson for all of the tiny sites who have limited space and want to choose the affiliate program best for them.
tass doesnt have that problem. she loves her some affiliate programs. its been an inside joke with all of us (mark, myself, even david forest laughs about it) for some time.

and also, what if tass only made a few hundred bucks? are you now going to treat your smaller affiliates as if they dont matter? i dont know exactly what tass made this year. i only know last year and it was far below the others, especially that live dating site and aebn, etc. and again that isnt the point. even if she made twenty fucking dollars, its more than a few dimes (though you cant buy much gas with it)
if your new strategy is to downplay and demean the tiny affiliates and smaller distributers than you folks are in more trouble than i thought.

Hummm…YOU scroll up Dexx…I said no one is being removed from our affiliate program. No one - no matter how small - will be treated poorly. You know what - I DID make a mistake by posting my thoughts on here before giving myself a cool down period. BUT, what tass did was wrong. period.

I also never said i would make PC’s affiliate report public. I said i would send it to Tass privately. I also realize that stating PC “hadn’t made a dime” may have been inaccurate - but - only Tass and I will know that and if after receiving the report Tass wants to make the information public and have me issue an apology - I will be happy to.
Tass DID start this - if she was going to share the video she should have shared it with the strict understanding that it would NOT be posted - she obviously did not do that because i seriously believe that had she made that statement Mark would have NEVER posted the link.
So now all we porn ‘insiders’ do is drink and do drugs when we’re out and about? And btw, I have NEVER even opened the ‘PR Book’ you refer to…and I’m glad I haven’t.

Tass made a mistake in not cloaking the post to mark adams behind a protected area. I did that once too during a fast-breaking situation, but luckily for me, THAT link never made it public.
As for scrolling up, obviously you didn’t, or if you did, your eyes ain’t seeing what the rest of ours are. i never said you cut her from your idiot affiliate program. i said you waved it about like a goofy queen in a series of emails legally marked to ensure (you think) Tass wouldn’t/couldn’t share them.
That you think your answers to mine might appear witty or even remotely plausible says more about you than my posts say about me, and that’s saying something, LOL.
I think it’s fairly obvious to any casual observer of this “fight” what happened and what is happening. no-one will be treated poorly. unless troy wakes up with a wild hair up his ass and decides to send haughty email. which was my point from the first.
the implication here is clear, on this very post even, you ran the gamut and none of it held any water. i know it, and most reasonable people reading this blog know it.
As a person who WAS at one time a tiny operator, i would take away exactly what i said before- that you on behalf of falcon would downplay, insult, twist and spin to try and embarrass, twist and/or intimidate an affiliate.
Thankfully, much like me, Tass doesn’t eat from porn confidential. Thankfully for HER, she does just fine with other studios and affiliate agreements. I got enraged on their behalf as well. it was the tiny webmaster of the early days reaching up and standing up.
Part of my anger came from the fact, that i always pointed at you as a person who was NOT like that one with the child bearing hips. know what i mean?
