It’s been announced that Suzuki St. Pierre will host the GAYVNs. Oh, all right, it’s really Alec Mapa, but he’s probably more generally recognized as the “St. Pierre” character he played on “Ugly Betty,” as well as lots of Logo stuff and on cruise ships. He co-hosted last years ceremony with Margaret Cho and Janice Dickinson, and just what IS her claim to fame besides those lips…but I digress. The 12th Annual GAYVNs will be held on September 24th at the Castro Theatre in SF, with the list of nominees to be announced the fifth on August. This year’s ceremony will have a “prison” theme. If you’re on the West Coast (or planning a visit), cash in one of IRAs and get yourself a ticket for the event – industry admission is 100 smackers, with general admission at $145. Or you might hit up a liquor store and do the VIP thing for $175, which includes priority seating and entrance to the exclusive after-party. You can get tickets to the after-party alone for 25 bucks, but that won’t get you into the show. Nominees will get one ticket and one ticket alone, so don’t plan on bringing the hubby. Tommy’s got a talk show. Who, you might ask…?

I have no idea who “Tommy” is, but if the preview clip that I saw on Jason Sechrest’s site is any indication, it looks like Tommy will make ET’s Cojo (or is it “Cujo”….I’m never sure) look like Diane Sawyer (not that that’s a bad thing, mind you). Tommy (one name only, it appears) will be the host of a new ET-type interview/talk show for Suite 703 to be called “Tommy Talk,” which will never be confused with “tummy tuck,” I’m sure. This new “live” feature will debut on July 7, and I, for one (assuming there’s more than one) can’t wait. The show will feature gay adult industry news and interviews, and you, the viewers, will be able to ask questions while the guys are on-camera. You will, it says in the PR, “get to know who your favorite stars of Suite 703 really are.” How about starting by telling us who Tommy is? The item on GAYVNs age described him as “…blond and ebullient but slightly creepy in a wholesome-soda-jerk-gone-bad sort of way.” “Tommy Talk” will be presented “live” Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2:30PM Eastern, his first guest is scheduled to be Jeremy Bilding (pic is from Channel 1), and I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Brenden Cage is one of the addition to the COLT stable of sluts…er, studs. Sorry, I misread, my apologies. Brenden appears in the upcoming COLT feature “Big Load,” and it is the first scene of the movie for your viewing and other pleasures. Not only extremely sexy but “personable,” it says here, Brenden is joined by three other newbies, Connor Stevens, Frank DeFeo, and Kyle Prescott. We can look forward to their scenes, but, for the time being, we’ll gladly settle for Brenden, and his scene is up and running now.

The days of Will Clark and his Bad Boys Pool Parties may be a thing of the past, but the guy’s “still got it,” what with his Porn Bingo, charity work, and the next edition of his Bad Boys on the Hudson thing. Will be setting sail Sunday July 11, and the headliner will be none other than Michael Brandon, once again out and about as it should be. Along with Brandon will be NY’s Mike Dreyden, Colin Steele, Scott Spears (right), Bryan Slater and Duke Rivers. Proceeds this year go to NY’s Anti-Violence Project. From the You-Can’t-Keep-’Em-Down Department: David Forest (the name rings a bell…) once again has several irons in the fire, starting with his latest acquisition, model Marcel Duarte. Calling him “flawless,” no doubt because of his lack of tattoos and piercings, David calls him a “total class act,” versatile, and has never done any XXX work. David’s setting the 25 year-old German/SouthAmerican lad up for “private meetings” nationwide. Speaking of which, David is also promoting Steven Daigle in his ForestMeetings program. Guess he’s run out of studios to film for. The attractive former Big Brother will be doing a few “major” private meetings. Major, indeed, as David told Zach Sire at TheSword.com that a night of bliss with Daigle will cost you around $3000, a precedent set by the likes of Zeb Atlas and Johnny Castle. David says, “It’s not like they make that much from the movies.” Forest will also be taking on veteran porn performer Antton Harri (right), who is going to resume movie and live work, and “continue his fabulous private meetings.” Oh. Forest will also be repping former porn guy Brad Taylor, looking to return to the biz, I guess. He’s 35 now, still a child if you remember when Cole Tucker made his first porn film when he was close to 50. And David had some good news about the former Stonie, now Brittany CoxXx (with three Xs, one of them a capital…go figure). He…er, she (left) had been very ill a while back with severe liver disease and hepatitis, and Forest says there has been a miraculous recovery and she “sounds like the old Stonie we remember so well.” Forest will also be doing his world-famous Forest Nights on Thursdays at Micky’s come September, but we’ll save that for later.

Our friend and colleague Vincent Lambert was just full of it this week…good dirt, I mean. Not that this first item I saw on his blog came as a shock. In fact, anyone who has followed Kurt Wild on Twitter has witnessed some…well, let’s just call it bizarre behavior, what with his apparently drunken outburst on Michael Lucas and the like. Now, the married-with-children porn performer announced, again via Twitter, because what better way, I ask, that he has gone into rehab and is joining AA. He does want his legion of fans and Twitter-followers to know that he’s not retiring from porn at this time (altho, if memory serves me, he has retired several times in the past), and is simply making “a good choice for myself and everyone else…” We, naturally, wish him well in his recovery.
The second item of interest on Vincent’s blog is more upbeat, with porn performer from the past Clay Maverick announcing a comeback. Clay, who appeared for Studio 2000 as well as a plethora of others, has a new website, and is writing a book, promising stories “that will twist your mind and make your toes curl.” Or, uncurl, if you already have curly toes. His website is a work in progress.

Oh look – another gay-for-pay porn guy is in the slammer. This time, tho, nothing simple like domestic abuse (now, now, I don’t mean to infer that “domestic abuse” is simple…);Sean Cody performer Addison has been indicted for murder. According to reports, he was arrested with his girlfriend, herself a porn performer named Sunny Dae (pause while someone says, “Couldn’t have been much of a ‘sunny day’ for her”). Sunny had allegedly smashed one of her “massage” customers over the head during a session, then called Addison to finish him off. Addison was arrested at a Homo Depot while trying to make purchases with a stolen credit card. One website is reporting that both of them, wanting to be keep up with the times, twittered before, during, and after the murder. Yes, this is why Twitter was created.

Steven Daigle twitted up a storm about his not being chosen for this, the poor dear. Daigle’s twitting was precipitated by the Fleshjack announcement of the winners of the its search for three new pornies to be spokesmen for their fine family products. The previous spokesporns were those wild and crazy Visconti triplets, and the winners, selected by online voting, were Brent Everett, Pierre Fitch, and…whatsisname…oh, yeah, Brent Corrigan. Gay Porn Blog was the first to report on the latest porn star to be incarcerated. Popular muscle gay-for-pay guy Robert Van Damme was arrested and held on a domestic violence charge against his wife. Other sources are reporting on the possibility of another charge which could result in Van Damme’s deportation to his native country, the Czech republic. Southern Florida’s Gay news reports the bond was set at 100 grand, and his occupation is listed as “escort” on the booking sheet. Colleague Vincent Lambert says, on his site, that he was contacted by Van Damme’s attorney, who told him that RVD is “being detained…and is working hard to avoid deportation and criminal charges.”

The Twins are back. WHICH twins, you might ask, because…er, “brotherly love” is just getting, shall we say, out of hand. The ones returning are the Richter Twins, Adam and Konrad, who made a splash a while back, have made a sequel. “Double Czech: Twins in Lust” is from William Higgins, no surprise there, and in this one, they are fucking. Yes, “their lust has pushed them into a brotherly flip-flop incestuous fuck.” Could I make this up. Also featured are what appears to be a fine mix of youthful and hunky guys like Dlouhan, Thomas Dyk and Milan Jusko, just to name a few. The movie is being distributed by Channel 1, and it’s on their site now.
